Music To Watch Seeds Grow By 008: Salamanda (Basil)
Music To Watch Seeds Grow By continues season two with Seoul duo Salamanda, Uman Therma (Sala) and Yetsuby (Manda). Offering a quiet, intimate ambient suite that traces a basil plant’s day from morning light to night dreaming. Seeds 008 moves gently. A bright self‑introduction at dawn, the patient pulse of watering and photosynthesis, moments of encounter (the hungry snail), and the plant’s steady push toward the sun in “allez, pousse!”, all rendered in hushed textures and domestic detail. By evening the record settles into ritual and sleep. “Basil’s Ritual”, “Basil’s Dream” and the final, mysterious “the blue wine”. A small, contemplative journey that turns ordinary observation into a space of slow, attentive listening.
