Two long lost versions of Wackie’s cosmic dancefloor gem Rise Up, finally back in circulation. This 12" brings the Max Romeo take, previously only heard on album cuts in the UK and Japan in the early ’80s, featuring a touch of Tyrone’s vocal for good measure. Flip it over for the original album mix of Tyrone’s version, stripped back and dubwise compared to the extended discomixes that surfaced in 2023. Deep, spacey Wackie’s magic through and through.
