DJs Di Guetto II pulls another set of raw, early doors fire from the Príncipe archive, this time digging deeper into the crew’s 2007 sessions. It’s all direct to the floor stuff: hard, stripped back, and full of that rough edged Lisbon energy that made the first volume feel so vital. DJ Jesse, DJ Marfox, DJ Nervoso and the wider circle keep things lean but loaded, with dry drums, minimal pressure and just enough melodic colour to keep the tunes bouncing. There’s a real no fuss charm to it, the kind of record that sounds completely self contained, made by people who already knew exactly what the sound needed to be.
