Posh End Music boss Fear-E returns with his second album, Descent into Ascension (Snapshots of a Mental State), a deeply personal set charting a rough patch of the mind. Recorded in a spell of isolation and withdrawal, it plays out like a sonic diary, each track capturing a different twist in his headspace. Musically he narrows the focus onto his first love, techno, seasoning it with Bangalter‑style French house swing, flashes of disco and a nod to EBM pioneers Nitzer Ebb.
