After 2022’s Orange, CS + Kreme are back with their third album, and it’s a bit of a shift in vibe. This time, they’re blending dramatic sounds and global influences, mixing things like medieval-style tunes, seafaring guitar strums, and Sundanese tarawangsa strings with their signature rhythms and industrial beats. ‘Uki’ is a great example - starting with abstract vocal loops and whispers, it builds into an acid techno track with sharp melodies and claps. The whole album is a perfect mix of smooth harmonies and unexpected sonic twists.
