Part one of a three part moon cycle repress, Bayou eases you into the deep, humid world of Birds Ov Paradise. Swampy sub bass, liquid pads and slow moving textures swirl around crisp, shuffling percussion, stitching together organic and synthetic elements into a hypnotic kind of deep techno. The EP leans into flowing, patient rhythms rather than big room hits, favouring subtle colour shifts, half heard field style textures and a softly psychedelic atmosphere that sits somewhere between techno, ambient and dubbed out jungle.
