My Mine - Hypnotic Tango

One of those Italo disco records that never really went away. My Mine’s 1983 debut single is built around one instantly recognisable synth riff, with pitched vocals and a stark acid leaning bassline doing most of the heavy lifting. It travelled well beyond Italy, finding favour in clubs across Europe and the US, and later became a touchstone for house and techno producers, Frankie Knuckles even remixed it in 1987. Still sounds futuristic in the best possible way.
