These recordings capture [ism]'s four-night performance at the Berlin club Au Topsi Pohl from May 18-21, 2022. A Bösendorfer grand piano was brought into the intimate space, with the trio just fitting onto the small stage. The result was an acoustic sound that, though tightly contained, resonated with precision and intensity. The outcome of their skillful and daring playing, a sense of dreams, form, and the pulse of human experience. A real beauty.
