Yetsuby - Water Flash
This July, Yetsuby makes her mark on Third Place with the 'Water Flash' EP, featuring four effervescent tracks. Hailing from Seoul, Yetsuby is renowned as one half of the electronic super-duo Salamanda, celebrated for their ethereal new-age electronica through releases on Good Morning Tapes, Human Pitch, and Métron Records. As a solo artist, she's showcased her music on 禁 JIN in Taipei and The Internatiiional in Seoul, in addition to self-released gems on Bandcamp. On the A-side, 'Water Flash' sets the tone with airy synths and textured percussion, while 'Electro Union' elevates the energy with dynamic vocal samples, vibrant drums, and glistening arpeggios. Flipping over to the B-side, 'Commercial Noisy Day' combines subtle synths with understated percussion for an immersive experience, concluding with the exquisite '물먹는하마,' featuring delicate keys and intricately subdued drums.
