The sound of South Africa, rolling bass licks, brass scattered all over the top and drums that slip and slide all over the record. The seventies was a hot bed of funk ladened jazz and laid back grooves and this everything in one place. This is it's first re-issue since 1977 and all the old copies how long slipped off in to the distance. This is the music of Malombo, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Batsumi and it deserves to be up there with the greatest albums of the decade. Under-rated? maybe but for those that know this is a prime example of the genre, a classic, put it on and drift away.
