Big Vern – Vision Of Experience EP

Regular price

Golden era '94 Jungle given a fresh lease of life. Big Vern or DJ Vern was one of the pioneering residents of Weekend Rush, a pirate radio that broadcast out of the Nightingale Estate in Hackney, which just so happened to be the same estate, and same high rise that Kool Fm was broadcasting from back then. Around this time Vern has started his own label, World Bass Records. It was on this label that Vern formulated his own distinctive East London sound of Jungle. His debut release on the label in 1994 – The V Experience EP, was a 3 tracker which was then followed up with the 12" release "Vision". Here Vinyl Fanatiks have paired those two releases into the "Vision Of Experience EP" showcasing the raucous sound of Vern and his ability to manipulate a sampler to create some of the heaviest jungle of the era.
