WéMè Records keep the Dopplereffekt reissues coming with the monumental "Linear Accelerator" album from 2003. Previously exclusively available on CD through International DeeJay Gigolos, it is now making its debut on double vinyl. The release marked an unexpected and significantly more experimental shift in their trajectory, emerging after a six-year hiatus from fresh material. The album commences with the gradually unfolding 21-minute opus, 'Photo Injector,' guiding listeners across six tracks into an extended and peculiar journey. Inspired by the high-energy particle physics explored at DESY, Dopplereffekt seemingly deconstructs the very essence of their sounds, contemplating at a subatomic level. Even after 17 years, its distinctive nature remains unparalleled, standing as an ageless, astounding, and otherworldly sonic creation.
