Herandu - Ocher Red
Herandu's debut album, Ocher Red, is a genre-blending journey that delivers a fusion of Metalheadz and Weather Report set against the backdrop of the Siberian steppes. The project is the brainchild of Siberian brothers Evgeny and Mikhail Gavrilov, who have been making music together since childhood, first in the band FPRF and later as solo artists under the aliases Dyad and Misha Sultan. Herandu emerged in 2022 during joint studio sessions, where they crafted a sound distinct from their solo work, blending influences from their early musical experiences. Joined by saxophonist Vladimir Luchansky, the album features a unique 'urban music' style, inspired by the gritty atmospheres of '70s TV cop thrillers and modern urban life.
