TLF Trio - Sweet Harmony

Regular price

Latency present Danish artists Cæcilie Trier (CTM), Jakob Littauer and Mads Kristian Frøslev with their first collaborative album as TLF Trio. An immensely shape shifting album, almost beatless throughout the album moves between composition and improvisation with ease. Drawing on elements of Free Jazz, stripped back minimalism all played with the sensibilities of Central-European Classical of the Late Renaissance and Early Baroque periods. Named after Liquid's 1991 rave classic "Sweet Harmony", it's a beautiful and intriguing listen, one to lay back on the floor, stare at the ceiling and drift away with. Louise Lawler’s distorted image from the Stedelijk Museum makes up the cover art to this brilliant record. Highly recommended!
