Miss Kittin & The Hacker - Lost Tracks Vol. 2

Regular price

Miss Kittin & The Hacker are the Electro duo of Caroline Hervé and Michel Amato from Grenoble, France. Blending the nostalgia of 80's European New Wave and Italo Disco with the futuristic sounds of 90's Detroit Electro, reminiscent of acts like Le Car and Dopplereffekt, this musical fusion marks a fascinating journey through time and genre. What sets this approach apart is its playful incorporation of verse-chorus structures, effectively challenging the status quo of the era dominated by loop-based hard techno and electro. This innovative approach injected a fresh dose of creativity into the music scene, bridging the gap between two distinct musical periods at the time. Here we have 4 previously unreleased demos recorded between 1997 and 1999.
