Lucy continues his pursuits away from the dancefloor on this third instalment on his own Stroboscopic Artefacts imprint. Known for his unique brand of techno experimentation, Lucy continues to push his sound into new worlds on "Self Mythology". The album is enriched by several layers of ambience and by the wordless, improvisational, yet still somehow narrative vocals and flute of Jon Jacobs. You can sense the care and thought that has gone into  connecting each chapter of the album with the same silver thread of entrancing story-telling. Stunning stuff and well worth a go.
