Echoboy - Rise & Zulu Dub Remixes EP
Introducing the inaugural release from Czech label Energy Of Dub, a killer EP from EchoBoy featuring two rare remixes of classic sound system tunes. On the A side we have a steppas remix of Junior Dread's iconic track "Rise," originally from the Gorgon Sound E.P. on Peng Sound label (2013). Flip it to the other side for an even heavier rootstep remix of a Zulu Dub cut, enriched by a magical flute (originally released on Riddim Tuffa's Roots Cooperation label in 2016). EchoBoy, a fresh project led by Adam from Riddim Tuffa, pioneers of the 80's Digital Reggae revival scene, ventures into the darker side of Dub while drawing inspiration from contemporary electronic dubstep sounds. With a vision to fuse diverse music genres, EchoBoy crafts a unique sonic journey, placing a strong emphasis on sub-bass frequencies.
