Originally released back in 1981, "Action Battlefield" was the second LP from dub collective The New Age Steppers. The group were known for the highly melodic take on dub and covers of obscure reggae tracks. This album features Ari Up of The Slits, drummer Eskimo Fox, George Oban from Aswad, Crucial Tony and the vocal debut of a certain Neneh Cherry. Reissued by On-U Sound. Ace!
